Make a Difference
We are actively involved in creating safe and healthy communities. Our staff serve on national, state, and community boards and councils to effect changes in public policy and services. Your support helps us to continue to serve individuals and families. Your donation truly does make a difference.
We Need You
We rely on volunteers to help us provide an array of services. Our comprehensive volunteer training programs prepare volunteers with the skills they will need. Volunteer opportunities vary from program to program.
Our domestic violence shelters need community volunteers, ages 21 and older, to assist with answering the crisis line, shelter support, residents’ care, childcare and court advocacy.
The Sexual Assault Response Team needs volunteers, 19 years and older, to assist victims of rape and sexual assault through crisis intervention, emotional support, and hospital and legal advocacy.
