Ron Rice

Director of Community Outpatient

Ron has been working in the Addiction field since 1998.He is in recovery himself, he was twenty-three when he went to treatment and acknowledges the impact the 30-day program made on molding the foundation of his recovery. Ron has experienced several different careers due to finding recovery. He worked in radio as an on-air personality at several radio stations in Missouri and other states. Ron attended college at Hannibal LaGrange in Hannibal, MO and the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was many years in recovery when he decided to become a counselor. He started his career in Correction-based Therapeutic Community treatment programs working first with women and later with men. Ron also worked part-time for Bridgeway at one of the rural locations in Northeast Missouri. He left corrections in 2007 and joined the Bridgeway family starting as a counselor at the Troy Center. Shortly after starting at the Troy Center he became the Site Director for the Troy, Montgomery City and Warrenton Centers. In March of 2009 he re-opened the Union Center, and in 2012 he became the Director of Community Outpatient Service’s and included Brentwood and Town & Country Centers under his care. Ron believes in the Bridgeway Mission Statement and wants every client we serve to be free of addiction, find recovery, and live the life they deserve.
